Uorginale camberstag bak C124

Heisann.

 

Muligens feil avdeling på forumet dette, men lurer på om noen vet hvor man får tak i camberstag bak til en C124, slik at bakhjulene kan få normal vinkel igjen.

Anntar dette ikke er noe statens vegvesen liker, men skal prøve meg =)

Jeg har kjøpt en S124 230TE med Sportline understell, og har samme problem med skrevende bakhjul. Vel, det er jo egentlig ikke et problem, for de ble levert sånn fra fabrikken. Men vakkert er det ikke!  :?

Så vidt jeg har forstått, så finnes det justerbare eksentriske foringer å få kjøpt, slik at cambervinkelen kan stilles til å bli  normal. Men jeg vet ikke hvor man får tak i dem. Biltilsynet kan jo ikke protestere på dét! (hvorfor blande dem inn i det hele tatt?  8) )

The MB Arts adjustable rear camber arms have several advantages over the stamped steel units from the factory:

MB Arts adjustable rear camber arms are lighter and stronger than the OEM arms.

MB Arts adjustable rear camber arms use bushings that last longer than the OEM rubber bushings. And if the rod ends wear out, you can replace them without replacing the entire camber arm.

A Public Service Announcement

 

MB Arts camber arms are not the cheapest camber arms on the market, and there's a reason for that. Many of the lower priced camber arms use inexpensive, hollow threaded aluminum or steel tubes, rather than a more expensive, solid T6061-T6 aluminum bar. Threaded tubes are made for sprint cars, not road use. And threaded tubes do not have the same strength rating that is required for daily drivers, which are heavier than sprint cars.

In addition, threaded tubes are designed to collapse upon moderate impact to prevent damage to expensive suspension components. By using a threaded tube, you put yourself and your car at risk when doing something as common as driving over a pothole.

Any sprint car parts company will tell you that threaded tubes are not made for street use. So think about how you'll use any camber arms that you purchase.

Olaf, de var på bilen, å ser ikke ut for å ha vært skiftet.

Mulgens det var bare skivene på utsiden som hullet ikke var i senter på. Var værtfall slik at man kunne vri den så det flyttet seg litt.

Originalene er jo ikke akkurat overdimensjonert, så ser man bort ifra skrytet om hvor fantastiske MB Arts sine stag er, virker det jo som noe man kan lage sjøl...

Et søk på 'adjustable camber arms w124' gir mange treff på betydelig billigere varianter.

Ja, det var det jeg skrev i mitt første innlegg i denne tråden. Og nå husker jeg jo plutselig hvor den informasjonen kom fra - nemlig fra Tor Anton! Du har det med i tråden om oppgraderingen av 190'en, med bilde av nymalt komplett bakaksling!

Så Jørgen, klikk på lenkene til Tor Antons 190, så finner du det der.

Da kan du kanskje fortelle hvor de foringene kommer fra, Tor Anton? Og hva de kostet den gangen?

Min egen erfaring med w124 er at det funker best med camber bak rundtom -1. Går fint med -0,5 også, men da blir det fort litt ustabilt i kurver. -1 gir gode egenskaper og fin jevn slitasje dersom spissing holdes på et minimum. Har også funket greit på Våler. Bruker Federal RSR.
