Dear Ladies and Gentlemen

I'm contacting you on behalf of a documentary film project for the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart in Germany. I have the assignment to do the research for that project. I'm looking for unique stories around Mercedes-Benz drivers and their vehicles, of ordinary people and their car. The titel of the film will be "gallery of heroes" and it contains stories of the everyday life of Mercedes-Benz drivers. I would like to give you an example of what and how the stories could be:

"...the old man in the south of Italy, who tells us the story how he picked up his wife 40 years ago on a sunday, drove with her to the sea and asked her there to marry him. She said yes and he still drives her every sunday to that beach in the same old Mercedes-Benz he drove her 40 years ago....".

or

"... the taxi driver in Marseille, who tells us how he picked up this pregnant women to take her to the hospital, but they got stocked in traffic and the woman gave birth to a healty little girl on the backseat of his cab, and he is now the godfather of this girl..."

Of course these 2 stories are made up by me, but i'm sure some stories like that or others happend all around the world.

We plan to shoot 3-5 minutes documentary short-films of such stories, they can vary in content and style, car and location. At the moment I'm doing the research to find such stories. So my question to you is: Have you heard in your environment of real and original stories of drivers and their Mercedes-Benz Vehicles of such kind that we are looking for?

Please remember,  this is only a first request, the project will only happen if we can find stories in different places of the world, maybe you find one in your place. I also would appreciate if you could forward this request to people who might have knowledge about such stories.

I like to thank you in advance for your help and I'm looking forward to hear from you.

kind regards
