Dessverre for min del er det ikke batteriet, dette sjekket vi tidlig.
Har samme problem som er forklart nedenfor, trenger derfor en ny styreenhet. Hvor får jeg tak i det?
Hi all, i am a new member and i would like to share my experience of the vito w639 model not starting on cold mornings, its the 109 cdi in my case 2005.
The same problem that a lot of vito owners are having , there is a lot of other problems that can occur in the electronic system that might have the same effect on your van, but my van started to have this problem many months ago especially on a cold morning , nothing would turn it over until the processor in the ecu became warm from constantly turning the key on and off and then it would start and go for the rest of the day. Eventually it came to the point that the start time was getting longer and longer and was driving me mad so i came across an electronic whiz and had him check it over for me , like a lot of owners of the vito thought it was the eis , anyway when after he had my van for a couple of days he told me it was the engine ecu that was gone bad and he would try and replace the processor in it but on doing so the board got fried but not before he got the dump file from it .I had to get a replacement ecu so i scoured for it all over , the numbers on the original ecu must be on the replacement one this is very important. I eventually got one from Dronsfields in Manchester a very good company to do business with a lot cheaper than some others and safe with pay pal . The unit was delivered in less than 24 hours and fitted with the dump file loaded and i have a van that starts first time on the coldest of mornings. I hope this info is of use to you guys , sorry for the long thread
